CENTRAL
BASTROP: Water clear. Black bass are fair on watermelon spinnerbaits and crankbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows and white tube jigs. Channel and blue catfish are very good on shrimp and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow.
BELTON: Water clear; 80 degrees; 0.73' low. Black bass are good trolling Rat-L-Traps. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows in 20 feet at night. Channel and blue catfish are good on nightcrawlers. Yellow catfish are slow.
BROWNWOOD: Water stained; 78 degrees; 6.06' low. Black bass are excellent on white Bass Hogg buzzbaits, perch and craw colored R.J.A. Custom crankbaits, and redbug and watermelon seed GrandeBass Finesse worms. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are excellent on Li'l Fishies small Rat-L-Traps, and shad colored crankbaits. Crappie are excellent on Li'l Fishies and tube jigs over brush piles and off docks. Channel and blue catfish are good on cut bait over baited holes in 10-15 feet. Yellow catfish are good on trotlines baited with perch and minnows.
BUCHANAN: Water clear; 79 degrees; 18.67' low. Black bass are good on white Curb's buzzbaits and Erratic jigs, watermelon Skip-N-Pop topwaters, and weightless Texas rigged purple flake Whacky Sticks in pockets and points in creeks in 5-15 feet at first light. Striped bass are fair on topwaters and Rat-L-Traps at first light on the surface over 30 feet near the Lighthouse, jigging white Curb's bucktail jigs, and drifting live bait. White bass are fair trolling Shad Raps and jigging Pirk Minnows and Tiny Traps over rock piles in 20-30 feet. Crappie are good on minnows and Curb's crappie jigs over brush piles. Channel catfish are good on live bait and dipbait. Yellow and blue catfish are very good on juglines and trotlines baited with goldfish and perch.
CANYON LAKE: Water clear; 78 degrees; 12.86' low. Black bass are fair on watermelon red Flukes, Texas rigged watermelon Whacky Sticks, and white crankbaits off points along flooded weeds and trees in 2-6 feet at first light. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Smallmouth bass are good on root beer JDC grubs and craws and watermelon red tubes on ball jigheads on main lake points and ledges in 8-15 feet. Crappie are fair to good on Curb's crappie jigs and live minnows around submerged brush piles along channel break lines in 8 feet upriver. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow and blue catfish are very good on juglines and trotlines upriver.
COLEMAN: Water clear; 79 degrees; 7.61' low. Black bass are very good on Rat-L-Traps, spinnerbaits, and chartreuse soft plastics. Hybrid striper are fair on live shad near the park and the store. Crappie are good on minnows and Li'l Fishies at night. Channel and blue catfish are good on trotlines baited with live perch and chicken livers. Yellow catfish are slow.
COLORADO RIVER: (At Colorado Bend State Park) Water murky. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Catfish are excellent on trotlines baited with live perch and shad, and from the bank on rod and reel baited with nightcrawlers, perch, and shad.
FAYETTE: Water clear; 84 degrees. Black bass are fair on watermelon and watermelon gold Carolina rigged soft plastics in 10-18 feet. Channel and blue catfish are good on shrimp and cut shad in 8-12 feet.
GRANBURY: Water clear; 1.61' low. Black bass are good on watermelon red and watermelon gold Carolina rigged soft plastics, crankbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. Striped bass are fair on minnows and silver striper jigs. White bass are fair on minnows, Charlie slabs, and pet spoons. Crappie are good on minnows and green tube jigs. Catfish are good on stinkbait, chicken livers, and frozen shrimp.
GRANGER: Water clear; 78 degrees; 2.25' low. Black bass are good on white spinnerbaits around stumps in the river channel. White bass are slow. Crappie to 2 pounds are good on minnows and jigs in 12-15 feet. Blue catfish are good on juglines baited with shad and cut bait. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live perch and goldfish.
LBJ: Water stained; 80 degrees; 0.53' low. Black bass are fair on JDC Skip-N-Pop topwaters, weightless watermelon red Whacky Sticks, and Bleeding Shad Rat-L-Traps along riprap on seawalls, docks, and water willows in 3-12 feet at daylight. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows and white Curb's crappie jigs over brush piles in 12 feet. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow and blue catfish are fair on trotlines baited with goldfish and perch.
NAVARRO MILLS: Water stained; 80 degrees; 0.23' low. Black bass are good on soft plastic worms, white or chartreuse spinnerbaits, and shallow running crankbaits. White bass are good on slabs over humps. Crappie are fair to good on minnows and jigs off docks. Channel catfish are very good on stinkbait. Blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines baited with perch and goldfish.
PROCTOR: Water stained; 78 degrees; 4.67' low. Black bass are fair on crankbaits and soft plastic worms early. Striped bass are fair on live shad. White bass are good on small shad and jigs. Crappie are fair on minnows. Channel and blue catfish are good on live shad and cut shad in the Onion Valley area. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live bait.
SOMERVILLE: Water stained; 80 degrees; 1.36' low. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are fair on Rat-L-Traps and crankbaits. Crappie are good on minnows. Channel and blue catfish are good on nightcrawlers and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow.
STILLHOUSE: Water clear; 86 degrees; 1.38' low. Black bass are fair on minnows. White bass are fair on liver along the banks at night. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and shrimp. Yellow catfish are slow.
TRAVIS: Water stained; 80 degrees; 32.80' low. Black bass are good on bone topwaters, red shad worms, and smoke grubs in 12-28 feet. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on grubs, topwaters, and chrome jigging spoons in 10-30 feet. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on nightcrawlers and fresh cut perch in 20-35 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.
WALTER E. LONG: Water fairly clear; 81 degrees. Black bass are fair on shad. Hybrid striper are fair on shad and crankbaits. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows. Channel and blue catfish are fair on nightcrawlers, frozen shad, and frozen shrimp. Yellow catfish are slow.
WHITNEY: Water stained; 9.11' low. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on minnows, pet spoons, and Charlie slabs. Crappie are fair on minnows and yellow tube jigs. Catfish are good on frozen shrimp, stinkbait, and live bait.
NORTHEAST
ATHENS: Water lightly stained, 78-84 degrees; 0.23' high. Black bass are good on topwaters early, later switching to Carolina rigs off points. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows over brush piles. Catfish are good on punch bait and worms around baited holes.
BOB SANDLIN: Water stained; 78-84 degrees; 0.18' high. Black bass are good on Carolina rigs, drop shot rigs and topwaters. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs around structure. Catfish are fair on cut bait and nightcrawlers.
BRIDGEPORT: Water fairly clear; 79-83 degrees; 8.23' low. Black bass are fair on spinnerbaits and Carolina rigs off main lake and secondary points. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows under docks and around bridge columns. White bass are good on Humdingers. Catfish are good on punch bait over holes baited with soured grain in shallow water.
CADDO: Water off color; 79-85 degrees; 0.92' high. Black bass are good on soft plastic frogs and Texas rigged worms fished around pads. Crappie are fair on minnows along the river channel. White bass are good in the river channel. Catfish are excellent on trotlines set with earthworms. Bream are fair on crickets and red wigglers the in shallows.
CEDAR CREEK: Water lightly stained; 78-83 degrees; 0.05' low. Black bass are fair early on topwaters, midday switching to flukes fished around grass. White bass are very good on Humdingers and TNT slabs. Hybrid striper are fair on Sassy Shad early. Crappie are fair on minnows over brush piles. Catfish are very good drifting cut shad.
COOPER: Water lightly stained; 79-84 degrees; 0.2' low. Black bass are fair on drop shot rigs, Rat-L-Traps and Texas rigs. Crappie are fair to good on jigs and minnows. White bass are good on slabs and Rooster Tails. Hybrid striper are fair to good on Sassy Shad and live shad. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and prepared bait.
FAIRFIELD: Water fairly clear; 82-90 degrees. No report available.
FORK: Water lightly stained; 79-85 degrees; 0.54' high. Black bass are fair to good on topwaters early and late, later switching to Senkos, drop shot rigged finesse worms and Carolina rigged watermelon/red Brush Hogs. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs under the bridges and over brush piles. Catfish are good on prepared baits.
GRAPEVINE: Water off color; 79-85 degrees; 1.91' low. Black bass are fair on crankbaits off main and secondary points and Texas rigged soft plastics in the shallows. Crappie are fair to good on minnows and jigs over brush piles and under docks. White bass are good on topwaters, Humdingers and slabs. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and live shad.
JOE POOL: Water off color; 78-83 degrees; 0.16' low. Black bass are fair on Rat-L-Traps, spinnerbaits and Texas rigs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. White bass are fair on Humdingers and topwaters. Catfish are fair on cut and prepared baits.
LAKE O' THE PINES: Water stained; 79-85 degrees; 1.64' high. Black bass are fair on topwaters, drop shot rigs and spinnerbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs over brush piles. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers and cheesebait.
LAVON: Water stained; 79-85 degrees; 0.26' low. Black bass are fair on drop shot rigs, topwaters and Texas rigs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs around structure. Catfish are fair on cut shad and prepared baits.
LEWISVILLE: Water off color; 78-84 degrees; 0.14' high. Black bass are fair on chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, Texas rigs and Bandit 100 crankbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs over brush piles. Catfish are good on prepared bait over baited holes.

PALESTINE: Water lightly stained; 78-83 degrees; 0.67' low. Black bass are fair to good on spinnerbaits, Texas rigged black/blue Power Worms and Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs over brush piles. Hybrid striper are fair on live shad. White bass are good on topwaters and Humdingers. RAY HUBBARD: Water stained; 79-85 degrees; 0.1' high. Black bass are fair to good on Carolina rigged Brush Hogs, drop shot rigged finesse baits and spinnerbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. RICHLAND CHAMBERS: Water off color; 78-83 degrees; 2.73' low. Black bass are fair on spinnerbaits, Texas rigged lizards or worms and medium diving crankbaits. White bass and hybrid striper are fair to good on Humdingers, topwaters and live shad. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs over brush piles. Catfish are good cut shad and prepared baits.
TAWAKONI: Water stained; 79-84 degrees; 0.25' high. Black bass are fair on 3" Sweet Beavers with a 1/8 oz. weight, Texas rigged lizards and chatterbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. White bass are fair to good on Humdingers and topwaters. Striped bass and hybrid striper are fair on live shad. Catfish are good on prepared and cut bait.
TEXOMA: Water off color; 78-82 degrees; 3.86' high. Black bass are fair on Carolina rigs, medium diving crankbaits and Texas rigs. Striped bass are good on live shad in 25-50 feet. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers and prepared bait.
WEATHERFORD: Water lightly stained; 79-84 degrees; 5.67' low. Black bass are fair to good on Rat-L-Traps and Texas rigged lizards around docks and on rocky points. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs in the crappie house and over brush piles. Channel catfish are good on worms and dough bait in the river channel on the north end. White bass are good on white Road Runners. Bream are good on worms.
WRIGHT PATMAN: Water stained; 79-85 degrees; 15.08' high. Black bass are fair on Texas rigs, spinnerbaits and jerkbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. White bass are fair to good on Rooster Tails and topwaters. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and prepared baits.
SOUTH
AMISTAD: Water clear; 80 degrees; 0.93' low. Black bass are good on spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and soft plastics, and on topwaters early. Striped bass are fair on redfins early and late. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Catfish are good on cheesebait, nightcrawlers, and shrimp in 6-15 feet. Yellow catfish are slow. Everyone in the boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.
BRAUNIG: Water stained; 78 degrees. Black bass are fair on spinnerbaits and dark soft plastic worms in reeds and near the dam. Striped bass are good on liver and perch off points near the pier. Redfish are excellent on perch, shad, and silver spoons. Channel and blue catfish are excellent on liver, shrimp, cut bait, and cheesebait near the dam.
CALAVERAS: Water stained; 78 degrees. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are fair on spoons and striper jigs between the dam and the crappie wall, and on chicken livers and shad along the shoreline. Redfish are excellent down rigging silver and gold spoons in 10 20 feet, on live perch and tilapia along the shoreline, and on live bait along the crappie wall. Crappie are slow. Channel catfish are excellent on liver, cheesebait, and shad. Blue catfish are excellent on liver and cut bait. Yellow catfish are slow.
CHOKE CANYON: Water clear; 80 degrees; 7.36' low. Black bass are fair on crankbaits and large soft plastic worms. Crappie are fair on minnows. Drum are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on stinkbait in 5-12 feet. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live perch.
COLETO CREEK: Water stained; 81 degrees (89 degrees at discharge); 2.98' low. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows in 10-15 feet. Channel and blue catfish are fair on live perch and nightcrawlers in 12-18 feet. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live perch in 12-18 feet.
FALCON: Water clear; 80 degrees. Black bass are very good on shallow running crankbaits and large worms. Striped bass are slow. Channel and blue catfish are excellent on cut bait and frozen shrimp. SOUTHEAST
CONROE: Water murky; 0.54' low. Black bass are fair on watermelon red Carolina rigged soft plastics, crankbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. Striped bass are good on silver/gold striper jigs. Crappie are fair on minnows and green and blue tube jigs. Catfish are good on stinkbait, liver, and bait shrimp.
GIBBONS CREEK: Water clear. Black bass are fair on watermelon red soft plastic worms with chartreuse tails. Crappie are fair on minnows and blue/black tube jigs. Catfish are very good on stinkbait, cut bait, and frozen shrimp.
HOUSTON COUNTY: Water clear; 89 degrees; 0.15' high. Black bass to 8 pounds are good on blue lizards across from the marina in 12 feet. White bass are fair along the northeast shore. Crappie are fair on live minnows around structure at the pump station in 15-20 feet. Bream are good on live worms off piers and grass beds. Channel and blue catfish to 3 pounds are good on trotlines baited with perch in 12-20 feet.
LIVINGSTON: Water fairly clear; 85 degrees; 0.21' high. Black bass are good on spinnerbaits and crankbaits. Striped bass are good but small on pet spoons, hellbenders, trolling tubes, and slabs. White bass are good on pet spoons, hellbenders, trolling tubes, and Charlie slabs. Crappie are good on minnows. Blue catfish are good on shad. Yellow catfish are fair on live bait.
SAM RAYBURN: Water murky; 78 degrees; 1.97' low. Black bass are slow. White bass are fair on minnows and silver spoons. Crappie are fair on minnows and chartreuse jigs over brush piles. Bream are fair on crickets and nightcrawlers. Catfish are good on trotlines baited with live bait, liver, and cut bait.

TOLEDO BEND: Water murky; 80 degrees; 0.71' low. Black bass are good but small on redbug and watermelon red soft plastic worms and crankbaits in the boating lanes. Striped bass are fair on minnows and silver striper jigs. White bass are fair on silver spoons. Crappie are good on minnows and blue/green tube jigs over baited holes in 20 feet. Bream are good on nightcrawlers and crickets in 2-8 feet. Channel and blue catfish are good on trotlines baited with live bait, stinkbait, livers, and hearts. Yellow catfish are slow.
PANHANDLE
GREENBELT: Water stained; 75 degrees; 28.59' low. Black bass to 5 pounds are good on shad-colored crankbaits, white spinnerbaits, pumpkin jigs and soft plastics worked along grass lines also on buzzbaits throughout the day. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. White bass are good on live bait and white/black crankbaits. Smallmouth bass are good on live bait and crankbaits. Walleye are good on live bait. Catfish are good on cut liver and live bait.
MACKENZIE: Water lightly stained; 74 degrees; 78.94' low. Black bass are good on minnows and red/white Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. White bass and striped bass are good on live bait and white crankbaits. Smallmouth bass are good on live bait and white spinnerbaits. Walleye are good on minnows and inline spinners. Catfish are good on live bait.
MEREDITH: Water stained; 75 degrees; 69.99' low. Black bass are good on live bait, black/blue jigs, watermelon/chartreuse soft plastic worms or tubes around rocky points and grass lines, and on topwater lures along rocks. ARROWHEAD: Water moderately stained; 75 degrees; 4.98' low. Black bass are good on crankbaits, chatterbaits or jigs off rocky points and rip-rap. Crappie are good on jigs suspended 7-12 feet. White bass are good trolling and casting toward rocky points in Sailboat Cove area. Blue Catfish are good drift fishing with cut shad or cheese bait on flats at 12-15 feet depth.

FT. PHANTOM HILL: Water clear; 77 degrees; 3.74' low. Black bass are fair on live bait. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. White bass are fair on minnows and shad-colored crankbaits. Catfish are fair on live bait.
HUBBARD CREEK: Water lightly stained; 77 degrees; 5.67' low. Black bass are good on white spinnerbaits, and black neon soft plastic lures worked along trees and reeds. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. White bass and hybrid stripers are good on live bait. Catfish are good on cut and live bait.

SWEETWATER: Water lightly stained; 78 degrees; 5.29' low. Black bass are fair on live bait and white/black crankbaits. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. White bass are good on live bait and inline spinners. Catfish are good on live bait.
WHITE RIVER: Water lightly stained; 78 degrees; 21.82' low. Black bass are good on live bait, junebug soft plastic baits worked along tree lines and suspended in brush. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. Walleye are good on live bait. Channel catfish are good on live bait.
COASTAL
NORTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good under birds and pods of shad on soft plastics. Redfish are good under rafts of shad on topwaters. Trout are good while working deep shell on plastics.
SOUTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good under birds and pods of shad. Trout are good at the jetty on live bait and topwaters. Sheepshead are good on live shrimp tight to the rocks.
BOLIVAR: Trout are fair to good on the south shoreline on Bass Assassins, Trout Killers and Sand Eels. Sand trout are fair to good on shrimp in the Intracoastal.
TRINITY BAY: Trout are good for drifters working pods of shad and mullet on Bass Assassins, Trout Killers and Sand Eels. Trout, redfish and flounder are good at the spillway on live bait.
EAST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are fair for drifters working deep shell on limetreuse and plum plastics. Trout are good on the south shoreline on Catch 5s, MirrOlures and Catch 2000s. Southwest winds have limited open bay drifting.
WEST GALVESTON BAY: Trout, sheepshead, redfish and black drum are good at the jetty on shrimp and crabs. Tarpon are beginning to show on the beachfront.
TEXAS CITY: Trout are fair to good on the reefs and in the channel on live shrimp and croakers. Redfish and sand trout are fair to good in Moses Lake on shrimp.
FREEPORT: Trout, redfish and Spanish mackerel are fair to good on shrimp at the jetties. Trout, redfish, sand trout and sheepshead are good on live shrimp on the reefs in Christmas Bay.
EAST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout are fair to good for drifters on live shrimp over mid-bay reefs. Trout are fair on the shorelines for waders.
WEST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout are fair to good on sand and grass humps on soft plastics and topwaters. Redfish are fair on topwaters and live shrimp in Oyster Lake.
PORT O'CONNOR: Trout and redfish are good on topwaters and live bait over sand, grass and shell in San Antonio Bay. Trout and redfish are fair for drifters working the back lakes with live shrimp.
ROCKPORT: Trout are fair to good in the guts and channels on free-lined shrimp. Trout are fair over grass while drifting with live shrimp. Redfish are good on mullet in the deep guts on the outgoing tide.
PORT ARANSAS: Trout, redfish and sheepshead are fair to good at the jetty on shrimp and croakers. Redfish are fair to good on the East Flats and around Dagger Island on shrimp and Gulps. Red snapper, kingfish and ling are good offshore.
CORPUS CHRISTI: Trout are fair to good on the edge of the spoils on Gulps and live shrimp. Redfish are good in the potholes on shrimp. Sharks are good in the surf.
BAFFIN BAY: Trout are good on for waders working plastics over sand and grass. Redfish have been found in knee-deep water on small topwaters.
PORT MANSFIELD: Trout are good on topwaters on the edge of the channel and around sand and grass. Redfish are fair to good while wading shallow flats on small topwaters and Gulps. Offshore is good for red snapper, kingfish, ling and tarpon.
SOUTH PADRE: Redfish are scattered around Gas Well Flats and South Bay on shrimp and DOA Shrimp. Tarpon are showing at the pass, but stiff winds have made it tough to chase them.
PORT ISABEL: Trout and redfish are fair to good on the flats on live shrimp. Trout are good on the deeper edges and flats in Laguna Vista and Airport Cove on topwaters and live shrimp. Redfish have been found in Cullen Bay.
