AUSTIN (AP) -- Here is the weekly fishing report as compiled for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for Nov. 25. (Report also available on Web as www.txfishing.com.)

CENTRAL

BASTROP: Water clear. Black bass are fair on spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are good on live minnows. Channel and blue catfish are good on hot dogs, nightcrawlers, and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow.

BELTON: Water lightly stained; 66 degrees; 1.81' high. Black bass are good on spinnerbaits and Rat-L-Traps along banks and in coves. Hybrid striper are fair on live shad. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows. Channel and blue catfish are good on doughbait and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow.

BROWNWOOD: Water stained; 59 degrees; 7.50' low. Black bass to 5 pounds are good on Grande Bass Rattle Snakes, 3/8oz. Bass Hogg spinnerbaits, craw colored 5/16oz. jigs, and craw colored crankbaits. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass to 2.5 pounds are good on Li'l Fishies, minnows, and shad colored crankbaits off lighted docks at night. Crappie are good on Li'l Fishies and tube jigs over brush piles in 6-15 feet and under lights at night. Channel catfish to 9 pounds are excellent on over baited holes in 5-15 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.

BUCHANAN: Water clear; 65 degrees; 26.05' low. Black bass are good on 1/4 oz. Bleeding Shad Rat-L-Traps, Skip-N-Pop topwaters, and Texas rigged weightless silver flake Whacky Sticks at daylight in 8-15 feet. Striped bass are fair casting and jigging Spoiler Shads (plastic swim baits) and Rat-L-Traps along the river channel in 25-40 feet in the lower end close to the dam at daylight, and drifting or free lining live bait in 30-40 feet. White bass are fair but small on Tiny Traps and 2" plastic swim baits along the river channel and in deep creeks. Crappie are fair on pink/white or chartreuse Curb's crappie jigs and live minnows in clear water.

CANYON LAKE: Water clear; 63 degrees; 10.49' low. Black bass are fair to good on Rat-L-Traps and white spinnerbaits along creeks and ditches in bays in 6-15 feet, and on watermelon red Whacky Sticks on jigheads and Texas rigged grape Scoundrel worms on shaky head jigs along main lake bluffs, and on JDC Skip-N-Pop topwaters, wacky rigged watermelon red Whacky Sticks, and Texas rigged blue flake worms tight to lay downs upriver. Striped bass are fair but small jigging blade baits and trolling Gizz 4 and deep running Shad Raps crankbaits over and around humps in the lower end at first light. White bass are slow. Smallmouth bass are good on Smokin' Green Devil's Tongues on drop shots, smoke JDC curl tail grubs on jigheads, and 3/16oz. pumpkin Curb's jigs with matching drop shot worms under cloud cover along ledges and over rock piles in 10-20 feet early. Crappie are fair on minnows and crappie jigs upriver.

COLEMAN: Water clear; 65 degrees; 10.21' low. Black bass are good on watermelon spinnerbaits and crankbaits. Hybrid striper are good on live minnows and chartreuse Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are good on live minnows. Channel and blue catfish are fair on stinkbait and liver. Yellow catfish are slow.

COLORADO RIVER: (At Colorado Bend State Park) Water fairly clear. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on minnows near the boat ramp. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are good on liver, stinkbait, and shrimp in deep holes.

FAYETTE: Water clear; 67 degrees. Black bass are good on watermelon gold, plum, and redbug Carolina rigged Finesse worms, and on topwaters and shallow running crankbaits over grass. Channel and blue catfish are slow.

GRANBURY: Water stained; 0.50' low. Black bass are fair on chartreuse soft plastic worms and Rat-L-Traps. Striped bass are good on live minnows. White bass are good on minnows, hellbenders, and pet spoons. Crappie are good on minnows and pink tube jigs. Catfish are good on shrimp and live minnows.

GRANGER: Water murky; 64 degrees; 0.64' high. Black bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on jigs tipped with Crappie Nibbles in 12-16 feet. Blue catfish are good on prepared baits in 6-10 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.

LBJ: Water stained; 66 degrees; 0.40' low. Black bass are good on 1/8oz. Curb's buzzbaits, watermelon JDC Skip-N-Pops, and wacky rigged green pumpkin Whacky Sticks along lay downs and stumps in 4-6 feet early and late and all day under cloud cover. Striped bass are slow to fair trolling Gizz 4 crankbaits on downriggers and drifting live shad along the river channel close to the dam. White bass are fair vertically jigging Pirk Minnows under birds. Crappie to 16" are good on Curb's crappie jigs and live minnows over brush piles in 12-15 feet.

NAVARRO MILLS: Water murky; 63 degrees; 0.70' high. Black bass are good on soft plastic worms and shallow running crankbaits. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs at the fishing docks in Liberty Hill Park. Channel catfish are good on stinkbait. Blue catfish are good on shad and perch. Yellow catfish are slow.

PROCTOR: Water stained; 65 degrees; 7.01' low. Black bass are very good on chartreuse/black and chartreuse/blue soft plastic worms and Rat-L-Traps. Striped bass are fair on minnows and silver spoons. White bass are good on minnows and jigging spoons. Crappie are good on minnows and green/white tube jigs. Channel and blue catfish are very good on stinkbait and frozen shrimp. Yellow catfish are slow.

SOMERVILLE: Water murky; 65 degrees; 0.64' high. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows and green/black jigs. Channel and blue catfish are good on chicken livers. Yellow catfish to 25 pounds are good on minnows.

STILLHOUSE: Water murky; 64 degrees; 1.62' high. Black bass are good on minnows, crankbaits, and spinnerbaits. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows. Channel and blue catfish are good on minnows, hot dogs, and nightcrawlers. Yellow catfish are good on live bait.

TRAVIS: Water stained; 65 degrees; 29.60' low. Black bass to 7 pounds are good on chrome crankbaits, red shad worms, and grubs in 10-28 feet. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on silver spoons, white grubs, and minnows in 30-40 feet. Crappie are fair on minnows and blue and white tube jigs in 15-25 feet. Channel and blue catfish to 10 pounds are fair on nightcrawlers and fresh cut bait in 30-48 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.

WALTER E. LONG: Water stained; 67 degrees. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are fair on minnows. Crappie are good on minnows. Channel and blue catfish are fair on night crawlers and shrimp together. Yellow catfish are slow.

WHITNEY: Water stained; 1.32' low. Black bass are fair on chartreuse and chartreuse/white spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and topwaters. Striped bass are fair on live minnows and white striper jigs. White bass are fair on minnows. Crappie are good on minnows and blue tube jigs. Catfish are good on bait shrimp and stinkbait.

NORTHEAST

ATHENS: Water fairly clear, 57-61 degrees; 0.35' high. Black bass are fair on Texas rigs and Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are good on live minnows in 12-15 feet over brush piles. Catfish are good on fresh shad and punchbait in 2-12 feet.

BOB SANDLIN: Water stained; 57-62 degrees; 0.06' high. Black bass are fair on Texas rigs, Rat-L-Traps and jigs. Crappie are fair to good on jigs under bridges and over brush piles in 20-35 feet. White bass are fair on slabs and jigging spoons. Catfish are fair to good on prepared bait and nightcrawlers.

BRIDGEPORT: Water fairly clear; 56-61 degrees; 8.6' low. Black bass are fair to good on Texas rigs, crankbaits and jigs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs under bridges. White bass are fair on slabs. Hybrid striper are fair on live shad. Channel catfish are fair to good on punchbait over baited holes.

CADDO: Water murky; 56-61 degrees; 1.67' high. Black bass are good on Texas rigged worms and Senkos. White bass are fair in the main channels on Road Runners and spoons. Yellow bass are fair to good on jigs and small spoons. Channel catfish are good on nightcrawlers and prepared bait.

CEDAR CREEK: Water stained; 57-62 degrees; 0.05' high. Black bass are good on finesse worms, Rat-L-Traps, Carolina rigs and jigs. White bass are fair on slabs. Hybrid striper are fair on live bait and slabs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs over brush piles. Catfish are fair to good on prepared bait and cut shad.

COOPER: Water off color; 56-61 degrees; 0.95' high. Black bass are fair on Rat-L-Traps, Texas and drop shot rigs. Crappie are fair on jigs and minnows over brush piles. White bass are fair to good on Humdingers and slabs. Hybrid striper are fair on slabs and live shad. Catfish are fair on prepared bait.

FAIRFIELD: Water fairly clear; 74-88 degrees. No report available.

FORK: Water stained; 56-61 degrees; 0.16' high. Black bass are good on 10" Texas rigged worms, Carolina rigs and heavy jigs. Crappie are fair to good on minnows and jigs over brush piles and around bridge columns. Catfish are fair to good on prepared bait and cut shad.

GRAPEVINE: Water stained; 57-62 degrees; 0.75' high. Black bass are fair to good on Texas rigs, shaky head rigs and medium diving crankbaits. Crappie are fair to good on minnows and jigs over brush piles. White bass are fair on slabs. Catfish are fair on shiners and chartreuse (use Worm-Glo) nightcrawlers.

JOE POOL: Water off color; 57-61 degrees; 0.22' high. Black bass are fair to good on Texas rigs, crankbaits and jigs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. White bass are fair to good on slabs and live minnows. Catfish are fair on prepared bait and cut shad.

LAKE O' THE PINES: Water stained; 57-62 degrees; 11.89' high. No report available due to high water conditions.

LAVON: Water stained; 57-61 degrees; 0.76' high. Black bass are fair on Texas rigged Baby Brush Hogs, jigs, and medium diving crankbaits. Crappie are fair to good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and prepared baits.

LEWISVILLE: Water stained; 57-61 degrees; 0.55' high. Black bass are fair to good on shaky head rigs, jigs, drop shot rigs, jigs and crankbaits. Crappie are fair to good on minnows and jigs over brush piles. White bass are fair to good on slabs. Hybrid striper are fair on slabs. Catfish are fair to good on shiners and chartreuse (use Worm-Glo) nightcrawlers.

PALESTINE: Water lightly stained; 57-62 degrees; 0.11' high. Black bass are fair on Texas rigs, Rat-L-Traps and watermelon jigs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs over brush piles. Hybrid striper are on slabs and live shad. White bass are fair on slabs and minnows. Catfish are fair to good on prepared bait and cut shad.

RAY HUBBARD: Water fairly clear; 56-61 degrees; 0.04' high. Black bass are fair to good on Rat-L-Traps, Carolina rigs, crankbaits and drop shot rigs. Crappie are fair to good on minnows and jigs. White bass are fair on slabs. Hybrid striper are fair on slabs and live shad. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and prepared bait.

RAY ROBERTS: Water lightly stained; 56-60 degrees; 0.57' high. Black bass are fair to good on Booyah jigs and Yum 3" grubs. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows over brush piles. White bass are good (difficult to locate) on C.C. jigging spoons. Catfish are good on prepared baits.

RICHLAND CHAMBERS: Water off color; 57-61 degrees; 0.08' high. Black bass are fair on Carolina rigs, crankbaits and drop shot rigs. White bass are good on slabs and live minnows. Hybrid striper are fair on large slabs and live shad. Crappie are fair to good on minnows and jigs around bridges. Catfish are fair on prepared baits and nightcrawlers.

TAWAKONI: Water fairly clear; 57-61 degrees; 0.77' high. Black bass are fair on shad pattern crankbaits, Rat-L-Traps and Texas rigs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs around bridge pilings. Catfish are good on live shad and nightcrawlers. White bass are fair on slabs. Striped bass and hybrid striper are fair on live shad and slabs.

TEXOMA: Water off color; 57-61 degrees; 0.23' high. Black bass are fair to good on Texas and Carolina rigs, medium to deep diving shad pattern crankbaits and drop shot rigs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs around bridges. Striped bass are fair on slow-rolled Sassy Shad and live shad. Catfish are fair to good on cut shad and nightcrawlers.

WEATHERFORD: Water lightly stained; 57-62 degrees; 2.71' low. Black bass are fair on shad pattern crankbaits and drop shot rigs. Crappie are fair to good on minnows and jigs in the crappie house. Channel catfish are fair to good on worms, liver and prepared bait. White bass are fair on slabs and live minnows.

WRIGHT PATMAN: Water stained; 57-62 degrees; 24.51' high. Black bass are good on Rat-L-Traps, Texas rigs and jigs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Catfish are good on prepared bait.

SOUTH

AMISTAD: Water clear; 68 degrees; 2.08' low. Black bass are good on topwaters, frogs, crankbaits, and soft plastics. Striped bass are good on slabs, spoons, and small crankbaits, and fair on topwaters. White bass are good on slabs, spoons, and small crankbaits, and fair on topwaters. Catfish are good on cheesebait, shrimp, and nightcrawlers in 12-60 feet over baited holes. Yellow catfish are good on trotlines baited with live perch. Everyone in the boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.

BRAUNIG: Water stained; 65 degrees. Black bass are good on crankbaits and dark soft plastic worms. Striped bass are good on liver and shad. Redfish are good on crawfish, shad, shrimp, tilapia, and silver spoons. Channel catfish are good on liver, shrimp, cut bait, and cheesebait near the dam and the intake. Blue catfish are good on cut bait.

CALAVERAS: Water stained; 65 degrees. Black bass are very good on dark soft plastic worms, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits around reed beds. Striped bass are slow. Redfish are fair on live bait, and on crawfish and tilapia near the dam. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on liver, shrimp, cheesebait, and shad near the railroad bridge and 181 Cove. Yellow catfish are slow.

CHOKE CANYON: Water clear; 66 degrees; 9.41' low. Black bass are good on watermelon red and tequila sunrise soft plastics in 15-25 feet. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows and blue tube jigs. Drum are fair on live worms. Channel and blue catfish are good on nightcrawlers and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are fair on live perch and goldfish.

COLETO CREEK: Water stained; 67 degrees (81 degrees at discharge); 0.17' low. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows in 12-14 feet. Channel and blue catfish are good on trotlines baited with live perch and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are good on trotlines baited with liver and perch.

FALCON: Water clear; 68 degrees. Black bass are fair on watermelon spinnerbaits and Brush Hogs in 5-12 feet. Striped bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are excellent on cut bait and stinkbait up the river. Yellow catfish are slow. Everyone in the boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.

SOUTHEAST

CONROE: Water stained; 0.03' high. Black bass are fair on chartreuse soft plastics and Rat-L-Traps in 15-30 feet. Striped bass are good on live minnows and silver striper jigs. Crappie are fair on minnows and pink tube jigs. Catfish are fair on liver and shrimp.

GIBBONS CREEK: Water clear. Black bass are fair on chartreuse blue and chartreuse green soft plastics, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows and blue tube jigs. Catfish are good on stinkbait, shrimp, and nightcrawlers.

HOUSTON COUNTY: Water clear; 66 degrees; 0.42' high. Black bass to 4 pounds are fair on Rat-L-Traps and watermelon red trick worms near the islands and in the creek channel. Crappie are fair on live minnows near the dam over brush piles. Bream are good on live worms over grass beds. Channel and blue catfish are good on stinkbait near drop offs, and on trotlines baited with shad and bream.

LIVINGSTON: Water murky; 65 degrees; 0.11' high. Black bass are good on buzzbaits. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows. Blue catfish are good on shad, shrimp, and prepared baits. Yellow catfish are slow.

SAM RAYBURN: Water stained; 66 degrees; 1.08' low. Black bass are good on pumpkinseed soft plastic worms, crankbaits, and watermelon topwaters in 20-35 feet. White bass are good on minnows and silver spoons. Crappie are fair on live minnows and green tube jigs. Bream are fair on worms. Catfish are good on stinkbait, shrimp, and minnows.

PANHANDLE

GREENBELT: Water stained; 48 degrees; 32.43' low. Black bass are fair on white crankbaits, pumpkin/chartreuse soft plastics around timber, and live bait worked along trees. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. White bass are good on live bait. Smallmouth bass are fair on live bait and chrome jerkbaits. Walleye are good on live bait and chrome jerkbaits. Catfish are good on live bait.

MACKENZIE: Water lightly stained; 47 degrees; 78.93' low. Black bass are fair on live bait, and shad-colored baits along timber and rocky outcrops. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. White bass and striped bass are good on live bait and shad-colored jerkbaits. Smallmouth bass are fair on live bait. Walleye are fair on live bait. Catfish are good on live bait and cut liver.

MEREDITH: Water stained; 46 degrees; 77.36' low. Black bass are fair on black/blue jigs, shad-colored crankbaits and live bait worked along rocks and grass edges. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. White bass are good on live bait. Smallmouth bass are fair on live bait and shad-colored crankbaits along rocky points. Walleye are good on live bait. Channel catfish are good on live bait.

PALO DURO: Water lightly stained; 42 degrees; 58.56' low. Black bass are slow on live bait and Carolina-rigged black/blue soft plastics. Crappie are fair on jigs and minnows. WEST

ALAN HENRY: Water lightly stained; 57 degrees; 1.98' low. Black bass are fair on shad-colored crankbaits and spinnerbaits, and black/blue soft plastic lures suspended in trees. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair on live bait.

ARROWHEAD: Water lightly stained; 60 degrees; 6.79' low. Black bass are good on crankbaits near rocky structures and submerged vegetation. Crappie are fair on jigs and minnows suspended off the derricks. White bass are good off rocky points with limited surface action. Blue Catfish are fair on cheese bait or on juglines baited with shad.

COLORADO CITY: Water clear; 61 degrees; 11.86' low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow. White bass are slow. Catfish are slow.

FT. PHANTOM HILL: Water clear; 60 degrees; 5.89' low. Black bass are fair on live bait and white spinnerbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. White bass are fair on live bait and small crankbaits. Catfish are fair on live bait and prepared bait.

HUBBARD CREEK: Water lightly stained; 59 degrees; 7.91' low. Black bass are fair on shad-colored spinnerbaits and soft jerkbaits worked along and over grass lines, and pumpkin/chartreuse soft plastics worms worked along timber. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. White bass are good on live bait. Catfish are fair on cut bait and live shad.

SWEETWATER: Water lightly stained; 55 degrees; 7.29' low. Black bass are fair on live bait and black/chartreuse soft plastic lizards. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. White bass are good on live bait. Catfish are fair on live bait.

WHITE RIVER: Water lightly stained; 55 degrees; 25.15' low. Black bass are fair on live bait, shad-colored crankbaits or slow-rolled spinnerbaits. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. Walleye are fair on live bait and black/white jerkbaits. Channel catfish are fair on prepared or live bait.

COASTAL

NORTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good under birds and pods of shad on soft plastics. Redfish and flounder are good in the marsh on shrimp.

SOUTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good under birds and pods of shad. Redfish are good at the jetty on live bait and cracked crabs.

BOLIVAR: Trout, black drum, sand trout and redfish are good at Rollover Pass. Trout are fair to good while drifting shell on plastics. Bull redfish are good on the beachfront.

TRINITY BAY: Trout are good for drifters working pods of shad and mullet on Bass Assassins, Trout Killers and Sand Eels. Trout are good under birds on plastics and topwaters.

EAST GALVESTON BAY: Trout and large Gulf trout are good for drifters working deep shell on plastics and fresh shrimp. Redfish and flounder are fair to good in the marsh around drains on shrimp. Trout and redfish are good under the birds.

WEST GALVESTON BAY: Bull redfish and flounder are good at San Luis Pass on shrimp and shad. Sheepshead, redfish and black drum are good at the jetty on shrimp and crabs.

TEXAS CITY: Gulf trout are good in the channel on fresh shrimp. Sand trout and black drum are good at the wells.

FREEPORT: Bull redfish are good at jetty on crabs, shrimp and mullet. Redfish are good on the beachfront on shad and mullet.

EAST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout and redfish are fair to good under the birds when the wind allows. Trout are fair for drifters on live shrimp over humps and scattered shell. Trout, redfish and flounder are fair to good on muddy shorelines on soft plastics.

WEST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout are fair on sand and grass humps on soft plastics and topwaters. Redfish are fair on live shrimp at Shell Island and old Parker's Cut on shrimp.

PORT O'CONNOR: Black drum are good on shrimp in Hynes Bay. Redfish are best in the back lakes on shrimp and mullet. Bull redfish are good at the jetty on crabs, mullet and shad. Trout are fair to good on the reefs in San Antonio Bay.

ROCKPORT: Redfish are good on the Estes Flats on topwaters and live shrimp under a popping cork. Trout are fair to good on topwaters around shell in St. Charles Bay.

PORT ARANSAS: Trout are fair around Dagger Island on shrimp and mullet. Bull redfish are good at the jetty and on the beachfront on natural baits. Offshore is good for tuna.

CORPUS CHRISTI: Bull redfish are good in the surf on mullet and shrimp. Redfish are good in the holes on live bait. Trout are fair for waders working mud and grass on small topwaters and Corkies.

BAFFIN BAY: Trout are good on topwaters and plum plastics around rocks and grass. Trout are good while drifting deep rocks on plum plastics. Redfish are fair to good in the Land Cut on natural baits.

PORT MANSFIELD: Trout are fair to good on the Kennedy shoreline on plugs. Redfish are good while drifting pot holes on topwaters and soft plastics under a popping cork. Trout and redfish are fair to good on the spoils on small topwaters and gold spoons.

SOUTH PADRE: Redfish are good in Airport Cove and on the Gas Well Flats on DOA Shrimp and TTF Flats Minnows. Snook are good on shrimp in the Brownsville Ship Channel.

PORT ISABEL: Trout and redfish are good at Laguna Vista and Holly Beach on TTF Flats Minnows and Brown Devil Eyes. Redfish are good on the edge of the flats on the outgoing tide on shrimp under a cork.
