Round Rock to host knife show

The Central Texas Knife Show is set for Friday and Saturday at the Williamson Conference Center in Round Rock. The event runs from noon -8 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are $5 per day.

The Williamson Conference Center is on the east side of I-35 behind the Wingate Inn at 1209 North I-35.

Knife experts will be doing demonstrations including forgewelding a damascus billet from steel cable, parkerizing steel, sheathmaking, knife sharpening and several others. Bryan's Don Halter, a custom knifemaker, will be among those performing demonstrations.
